Swansong grew from the idea that an ending is not always a loss. Sometimes it is the first visible sign that something new has already begun.

The hidden writing beneath the surface refers to stories carried by a landscape: fragments of memory, voices and meanings that are present, even when they can no longer be clearly read. For me, the swans became messengers of transition. They move between what has been and what is still becoming.

This painting is about the fragile moment when the past has not disappeared, but the future has already started calling.
