Warmth was inspired by the last rays of sunlight touching the land at the edge of day.

For me, this painting is less about a specific place than about the elemental feeling of warmth carried by light. Sunlight is more than illumination: it sustains life, shapes our rhythms and gives a sense of belonging in the world. In that way, it feels deeply human to me, as if we are, in some sense, children of light.

This work holds on to that quiet recognition. Even as the day begins to fade, warmth remains as a trace of connection: between body and landscape, between memory and presence, between light and life itself.
